Islamic Finance is growing in popularity amongst investors and corporates. Our client, a City law firm, wanted its Islamic Finance team to benefit from this growth before larger and better resourced Global law firms spent their way to a dominant position in this niche sector.
Our role was to create a PR programme that established the depth of their expertise in this area.
Strategy- MPR generated cost effective research highlighting the growing importance of Islamic Finance, to create high impact press coverage and further establish our client as thought leaders in the field. Research projects that Mattison Public Relations undertook itself included:
- Tracking of Islamic bonds issuance
- Volume of Islamically financed investment into UK property
- Performance of Islamic equity investments vs conventional investments
- Issuing general commentary on Islamic Finance on an on-going basis
Considerable coverage has been achieved in the national press, international press and Gulf based media.
Our client is now recognised as leading commentators on Islamic Finance and gains much greater press coverage on the subject than its larger rivals.
It was also awarded the Finance Team of the Year in the prestigious ‘The Lawyer Awards’. The nomination was the result of a submission produced by Mattison Public Relations.
