Nick Mattison
Nick joined the consultancy early in 1996 after three and half years as an equity and derivatives broker in the City, where he specialised in media and technology companies at the investment bank Durlacher (subsequently acquired by Lazard).
Financial services clients that he has worked with include Aberdeen Asset Management, AnaCap, AIG, Aldermore, BNP Paribas, Cabot Square Capital, Cambridge Associates, CMC Markets, Man Group, Royal & Sun Alliance, Willis and the London Metal Exchange.
Law firm clients that he has worked with include Pinsent Masons, RPC, Mayer Brown, Collyer Bristow, Boodle Hatfield, Slaughter & May, DAC Beachcroft and IP law firm Mathys & Squire.
Accountancy and management consultancy clients have included Accenture, BCG, BDO, Forvis Mazars and UHY Hacker Young.
Real estate clients include: DTZ, London & Paris Estates, Multi and NB Real Estate.
Investor relations work includes Barry Callebaut, Burger King, Unilever and Vale.
He is a graduate in Economic and Social History from the University of Liverpool.
Stephen Culpin
Prior to joining Mattison Public Relations, Stephen spent five years working as Senior Caseworker and then Parliamentary Assistant to two senior Members of Parliament.
Since joining Mattison Public Relations, Stephen has worked with several financial services clients, such as leading Japanese asset manager Asset Management One ($510 billion AUM) as well as professional services firms including Boston Consulting Group, TWM Solicitors, UHY Hacker Young and Bowmore Wealth Group.
Stephen graduated from The University of Lincoln with a degree in International Relations and Politics.
Alexandra Brown
Alexandra joined Mattison Public Relations in 2024. She has worked across a number of accounts such as accountancy firm Lubbock Fine and infrastructure fund manager firm CVC DIF (€19billion AUM).
Prior to joining Mattison Public Relations, Alex worked for London real estate firm Douglas & Gordon. Alex has a degree in Politics and International Studies from The University of Leeds.
Juan Pablo Alvarez
Juan Pablo joined Mattison Public Relations in 2025. He works across a number of accounts, including wealth management firm Bowmore, accountancy firms Lubbock Fine and UHY Hacker Young, and consultancy firm Inverto, part of BCG.
Prior to joining Mattison Public Relations, Juan worked for Moore Kingston Smith, one of the UK’s top 10 accountancy firms, and is a part-qualified ACA. He holds a degree in Economics from the University of Warwick and is a fluent Spanish speaker, with working knowledge of Italian and German.
