Our client, a Top 20 law firm, wanted to raise its profile to establish itself as the most recognised brand in its core markets.

We delivered a ‘thought leadership’ media relations campaign relating to trends in tax investigations in the UK. We achieved this by producing a mixture of research-based releases, issuing comments reacting to breaking news stories and scheduling meetings with journalists in key target sectors.

Topics we identified and developed for our client included trends in HMRC investigations into the UK’s largest businesses, number of Chief Financial Officers penalised for tax offences and suspected tax underpaid by businesses through Transfer Pricing.

The programme we put in place delivered consistent high-value coverage for our client in influential media publications that has helped drive their sales and new business referrals. Through our work, our client was covered in the Financial Times 24 times in just one year and an average of 4.7 times a month in all national media publications.
